Data processed in relation to browsing this website will be erased or restricted as soon as the storage purpose no longer applies, unless longer storage is required by law or otherwise specified in individual procedures.
Cookie Manager
A cookie manager is implemented on the website to gather consent for the use of non-essential cookies.
To ensure that the selected consent preferences are retained on future visits, a cookie recording the selected settings is stored on the user’s device when the page is accessed.
This cookie is essential for documenting data protection-compliant consent.
Users can block or remove cookies by adjusting their browser settings.
Cookies
a) Session Cookies
To improve the user-friendliness, effectiveness, and security of our website, so-called „cookies“ are used. These small text files or comparable storage technologies are placed on the user’s device via the internet browser as cookies. When cookies are used, certain information such as browser data, location data, or IP address may be processed to varying extents.
Since this processing enables, for example, presentation of the website in different languages or the use of a shopping cart function (if offered), our website becomes more user-friendly, efficient, and secure.
If the cookies are used for initiating or fulfilling contracts, the legal basis for such processing is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.
If this criterion does not apply, our legitimate interest arises from the improvement of the functionality of the website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
These session cookies are deleted after leaving the website or closing the browser.
b) Third-party Cookies
It may occur that partner cookies are also used in the course of using the website, especially for analytics, functional enhancements, or advertising purposes.
The following statements, in particular, provide detailed information about the purpose and legal basis of each individual cookie.
c) Option to Deactivate
You may prevent the storage of cookies or delete already stored cookies at any time by adjusting your web browser settings. Details can be found in the help function or documentation of your browser or, if necessary, from the manufacturer’s support. For so-called Flash cookies, separate settings in the Flash Player are required. Please consult the relevant help resources or contact support.
Please note that disabling cookies may result in not all functions of the website being fully available.
Contact
The data you submit when contacting us via contact form or email will be used exclusively for processing your inquiry. Provision of the data is necessary, as otherwise a response may not be possible or only possible to a limited extent.
The legal basis for this is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.
Once your request has been fully processed and no statutory retention requirements – for example, in connection with a subsequent contract – oppose it, your data will be deleted.
Server log files
In order to ensure the secure and stable operation of the website, certain data is automatically transmitted by your web browser to us or our hosting provider for technical reasons (so-called server log files). This includes, among other things, operating system, browser type/version, accessed pages, referrer URL, IP address, date and time of access.
These temporarily stored data will not be merged with other personal information.
The processing is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest arises from ensuring the functionality, stability, security, and optimization of the website.
Unless extended retention for evidence purposes is required, the data will be deleted at the latest after seven days; if such retention is necessary, full or partial storage will take place until the facts are finally clarified.
Google Analytics
We use the web analytics service Google Analytics within our website, which is supplied by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland (hereinafter referred to as “Google”).
Google Analytics is used to analyze user behavior on our website.
Processing is carried out pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f) GDPR, with our legitimate interest being the optimization, economic operation and analysis of the website.
Usage-related and user-related data, such as the frequency of page views, IP addresses, time, and location, are transferred to and stored on a server operated by Google in the United States.
We use Google Analytics with the so-called anonymization function, which ensures that Google truncates the IP address within the member states of the European Union or other states party to the Agreement on the European Economic Area before transmission.
The information collected in this manner is used by Google to provide us with reports on website usage and visits. Furthermore, Google may use this data to provide other services related to the use of the website and the Internet.
According to Google, the IP address will not be combined with other data. Further information relating to data protection and possible options for limiting data usage is provided by Google at https://www.google.com/intl/en/policies/privacy/partners.
In addition, Google provides a so-called opt-out browser add-on and further information at https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=en
By installing this add-on in common browsers, you gain additional control over the data collected by Google Analytics when using our website. Google Analytics’ JavaScript (ga.js) is notified by the add-on, that no information about your website visit may be sent to Google Analytics. Please note, nonetheless, that this does not prevent data from being transmitted to us or to other web analytics services that may be used.
Information on whether and which other web analytics services are used can also be found in this privacy policy.
Google Fonts
For consistent presentation of external fonts, we use “Google Fonts,” a service provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland (“Google”).
To integrate the desired fonts, a connection will be established to Google servers, including in the USA, when our pages are accessed.
The legal basis for this is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, as our legitimate interest lies in the efficient and economical design of the website.
Google may detect which website made the request as well as the corresponding IP address.
Google Maps
To display our location and provide directions, we use Google Maps within our website, a service of Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland (referred to as “Google” in the following).
When you access the relevant pages, a connection to Google servers, including in the USA, is established to embed the desired features.
When the Google Maps component integrated into our website is accessed, Google retains a cookie on the users device by web browser. As part of displaying our location and creating directions, Google processes your user settings and respective usage data. It cannot be ruled out that Google servers in the United States may be used.
If you have authorized consent for this processing, the legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a) GDPR. Alternatively, processing is based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f) GDPR, whereby our legitimate interest lies in improving the functionality of our website.
By establishing a connection to Google, it becomes apparent to Google which website your request originated from and to which IP address the route information should be sent.
If you wish to object to this data processing, you may prevent the storage of cookies by changing your browser settings accordingly. For further information, please refer to the “Cookies” section of this privacy policy.
The use of Google Maps and the information obtained by Google Maps is also subject to the Google Maps terms of service (https://www.google.com/intl/en/help/terms_maps.html) and the general Google Terms of Service (https://policies.google.com/terms?gl=DE&hl=en).
